Los Angeles has reached an agreement with the administration of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host the summer Olympics in 2028 instead of 2024. The last time the summer Olympics were pass in the United States in 1996 in Atlanta. The 2002 winter games were passed in Salt Lake City.
